Making a Difference in Communities Across the Country
At ABC Supply, our Core Values guide everything we do. One value that extends beyond the walls of our more than 840 locations is Give Back. We understand that our success wouldn’t be possible without the support of our local communities, which is why we support organizations that are making a difference within them. From local charities and organizations to building homes for veterans and granting wishes for kids, we’re proud to Give Back.
Joining Forces With Homes For Our Troops
Joshua’s vehicle drove over an IED, resulting in severe damage to his left leg and left arm, traumatic brain injury and hearing loss. Joshua was involved in the design decisions of his new home to make sure it would fit his lifestyle and his family’s taste.

While serving on his second deployment in Iraq in 2007, Bobby lost his right leg and continues to suffer from severe internal and brain injuries. His new, custom home will help him regain his independence, care for his family and take on new community volunteer opportunities.

Stephen lost his right leg and sustained other serious injuries from an improvised explosive device. Worried about being able to provide for his wife once he returned to the United States, a custom home was the reassurance he needed.

Not only is Give Back one of our Core Values, so is American Pride. We honor our country’s heroes through a multimillion-dollar partnership with Homes For Our Troops, a nonprofit that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. These homes allow veterans to focus on their families and their recovery in a place they can call their own.
Over $2,000,000 Raised for Homes For Our Troops
During the week leading up to the Indy 500, ABC Supply launched a donation match to benefit Homes For Our Troops. America rallied behind the cause and donated more than $1,000,000 to the organization. Combined with the match, a total of more than $2,000,000 was raised to support veterans!
Valuing the Veteran Experience
Helping to build custom homes isn’t the only way we show our support for veterans. We’re also committed to helping veterans transition into fulfilling civilian careers that can put their military experience to work. We’ve partnered with military.com, RecruitMilitary and the Army Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program to connect with veteran career seekers.
Making Wishes Come True
At ABC Supply, we’re dedicated to making wishes come true, so we wanted to become a Make-A-Wish® Champion Sponsor. Through our multimillion-dollar commitment to this organization, we’re helping grant life-changing wishes for children diagnosed with critical illnesses. Our associates are invited to get involved to help make more children’s wishes a reality.

Heart condition
In Eugene, Oregon, the local ABC Supply branch donated shingles to help build a backyard fort to grant Cohen’s wish. “Our whole team was excited to have the opportunity to help Cohen,” said Eugene branch manager Jonathan Strunk. “We’re not just a business, we’re part of this community, and it felt great to do something special for this young boy.”
